Eligibility Requirements

To rent a vehicle from mist-gate, you must:

• Be at least 25 years of age
• Hold a valid driving license for a minimum of 3 years
• Provide acceptable proof of address dated within last 3 months
• Present valid identification
• Provide a valid payment method
• Meet our insurance requirements

We reserve the right to verify eligibility and refuse service if requirements are not met.

Booking and Reservations

Booking Requests

Submitting a booking request through our website does not guarantee vehicle availability. Bookings are confirmed only after:

• We verify availability for requested dates
• We send written confirmation via email
• Required documentation is provided

Pricing

Prices displayed on our website are starting rates and may vary based on:

• Rental duration
• Seasonal demand
• Vehicle availability
• Additional services selected
• Insurance coverage options

Final pricing will be confirmed in your booking confirmation email.

Payment

Payment is required at vehicle collection unless corporate account terms have been established. We accept major credit and debit cards. A security deposit may be required depending on vehicle category.

Cancellations and Modifications

To cancel or modify a booking, contact us as soon as possible. Cancellation terms:

• 48+ hours before collection: Full refund of any deposit
• 24-48 hours before collection: 50% deposit retained
• Less than 24 hours: No refund

Vehicle Use and Responsibilities

Permitted Use

Vehicles may be used for business and personal purposes within the United Kingdom. The following are prohibited:

• Use for driving instruction
• Participation in races, rallies, or competitions
• Towing or pushing other vehicles
• Transport of hazardous materials
• Use while under influence of alcohol or drugs
• Use for illegal purposes
• Subletting or unauthorized transfer to another driver

Driver Obligations

As the renter, you agree to:

• Operate the vehicle safely and in accordance with all traffic laws
• Maintain the vehicle in good condition during rental period
• Check oil, water, and tire pressure regularly
• Not tamper with the odometer
• Report any damage or mechanical issues immediately
• Return vehicle on agreed date and time
• Return vehicle with same fuel level as at collection

Insurance and Liability

Standard comprehensive insurance is included in rental rates. This covers:

• Third-party liability
• Collision damage (subject to excess)
• Theft (subject to excess)

You remain liable for:

• Damage excess amount as stated in rental agreement
• Damage caused by prohibited use
• Interior damage and cleaning costs
• Loss of keys
• Parking fines and traffic violations

Accidents and Damage

In case of accident or damage:

• Stop immediately and ensure safety of all parties
• Contact police if required by law
• Notify us immediately
• Do not admit fault or liability
• Obtain contact details of other parties and witnesses
• Complete our incident report form within 24 hours

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and design elements, is owned by mist-gate or used with permission. You may not:
